What do we say when we are together? What does the enjoyment of being harmoniously together mean?

​

In this collection, I capture joy and the celebration of thousands of people getting together in festivals, carnivals and public events. It´s where all these people seem to be free in the ecstasy of festivity.

 

To me, documenting demonstrations, strikes and social movements matters, because it captures individuals collaborating for one common cause. It is an instant when through the collective they seem to express a single message, speaking with a unified voice.

 

Through these images I would like to transmit empowerment –but sometime also risk- of being TOGETHER.
